Today we celebrated Barbara's first birthday with a bumble bee themed cake smash at her home in Connecticut. We started out with some family photos, and Barbara was all smiles. I would get a big giggle out of Barbara every time I would run towards towards her, so you can imagine how many times I ran back and forth trying to make her laugh! After family photos, we decorated the backdrop with bumble bee themed props for the cake smash. Not every kid loves to smash cake and get messy, and Barbara was one of them. We didn't torture her too long, but just long enough to get a few good crying photos! In the end, a good time was had by all, and I made a new BFF in Barbara.
